Graduate Fashion Week (GFW) in London, one of the most important events of the year for fashion students, lovers and professionals, opens its door again at The Old Truman Brewery in the heart of East London and Istituto Marangoni will spot its most talented students, the new generation of fashion designers.<br />

On June 5, The Old Truman Brewery in the heart of East London hosted the annual Fashion Show of Istituto Marangoni The London School of Fashion.<br />
<br />
The event saw fifteen graduates presenting on the catwalk seven menswear and eight womenswear collections: a highly coveted occasion to be introduced to the international audience of the Graduate Fashion Week, celebrating this year its 25th anniversary.<br />
<br />
Best designer: Inés Suelves Osorio. In her collection the traditional Japanese aesthetic mixes with a style inspired by the 60’s mods and rockers. Pink color, patches and zips are the key elements of her outfits.

  • David Koma Presentation at London Fashion Week16 - David Koma is a 29 years old Georgian born, London based fashion designer who has become synonymous with the ultra body contouring silhouette. Creating sculptural statement dresses inspired by the feminine form, it is this design element that has projected the young designer onto the international stage. <br />
After studying Fine Art in St Petersburg and showing his first collection at the age of 15, Koma moved to London in 2003 to take up a place at the prestigious Central St Martins College of Art and Design.<br />
It was here that he channelled his love of fashion and honed his design skills to create his signature look. He completed his BA in Fashion Design and graduated with a distinction in MA Fashion in April 2009 under the mentorship of late Professor Louise Wilson, OBE.<br />
Straight after graduation David Koma launched his eponymous label and is a participant of London Fashion Week, presenting 2 womenswear collections a year.<br />
In December 2013 David was appointed as Creative Director of French house  Mugler.

Born in Seoul, Korea, Jackie Lee spent five years working as a Senior Pattern Cutter in Seoul and two years at KISA London as Master Pattern Cutter. She studied at Central Saint Martins (MA 2010 womenswear) as well as completing the PG Innovative Pattern Cutting course at Central Saint Martins in 2007<br />

In March 2010, she launched her eponymous label, J. JS LEE featuring sleek androgynous tailored pieces. For her first collection after college, she received NEWGEN sponsorship for SS11 in the exhibition space alongside many established London labels.
