Il castello, o palazzo ducale, dei Castromediano-Limburg è una costruzione della seconda metà del XV secolo con aggiunte strutturali e rifacimenti affettuati nel corso del Cinquecento e del Seicento. Il nobile prospetto presenta un ingresso quattrocentesco, mentre del XVI secolo è la merlatura e il bastione. Il lato nord della fabbrica fu aggiunto nel Seicento. L'interno, caratterizzato da un atrio in cui è posizionata una statua in pietra leccese raffigurante Kiliano di Limburg, capostipite della famiglia Castromediano, ospita vasti ambienti decorati con elementi architettonici tipici del periodo barocco.
The castle, or ducal palace, the Castromediano-Limburg is a construction of the second half of the fifteenth century, with structural additions and renovations affettuati during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The noble prospect has an entrance century, while the sixteenth century battlements and ramparts. The north side of the factory was added in the seventeenth century. The interior features an atrium in which is positioned a stone statue depicting Killian Lecce Limburg, founder of the family Castromediano, has large rooms decorated with architectural elements typical of the Baroque period
